The Limited Baker is a page born from three things.
First is my little boy’s diet limitations, which meant wheat, potatoes, tomatoes, MSG, dairy and chocolate are off the menu.
Second is my passion for exploring foods – I just love trying new stuff, and once I realised how many great foods from other cultures didn’t involve these ingredients I swan-dived into a world of new discoveries.
Thirdly is the reaction I’ve had from other people to my revelations- other family members were cautious at first but now eagerly wait to see what’s coming out of the oven, and Facebook baking groups have been clamouring for more details. And with things like Bacon Cake on the menu, it’s not hard to see why!
I don’t like recipie blogs with lots of info before a recipie so I’ve put extra details about ingredients, techniques, me and my life etc on other posts. If I don’t like it, I’m not going to subject you to it!
